We are delighted to have been retained to look for an outstanding Account Manager to join this leading B2B Beauty media brand. You will work within a sector that is vibrant and recognises and comments on the most successful professional hairdressers.

Your clients will be a mix of highly recognisable BEAUTY related brands.

This market leading brand offers a fantastic package for the right person. Central London based. 

Overview

Our client is a leading Hair and Beauty Publisher and they now have an exciting role selling advertising and sponsorship solutions across a diverse portfolio or products, including a magazine, online and numerous high profile industry events.

The UK BEAUTY marketplace is one of the most vibrant sectors and if you have a passion for Beauty, plus are a skilled media sales professional, this is the perfect role.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE MEDIA SALES EXPERIENCE AND IN PARTICULAR, EXPERIENCE OF FACE TO FACE SALES. 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 

  • Build number of customers across the portfolio through account management and new business. This portfolio includes print, online and a number of key awards and exhibitions

  • Maintain and develop existing active accounts and build strong relationships with key decision makers

  • Maximize opportunities from all incoming business

  • Canvas customers from other publications, exhibitions, social media, online etc

  • Attend exhibitions and numerous events to drive growth

  • Deliver outstanding customer service

Skills required 

  • Strong negotiator

  • Able to cross-sell effectively a variety of products/solutions over the phone

  • Excellent written skills

  • People oriented, excellent listening skills

  • Team player

  • Target driven and hungry for success

  • Highly motivated

Experience required 

  • Minimum of one year’s Media Sales experience

  • An understanding of B2B media would be preferred but not essential

  • A track record of success, delivering revenue growth

  • A blend of exhibition, print and online experience would be beneficial but not critical

For the right person the salary is excellent as is the uncapped commission, so high earning potential is available.
